Selamat Datang!

A very warm welcome to the official website of the Korean Cultural Center in Malaysia.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1960, Korea and Malaysia have maintained close cooperation across a wide range of fields. In particular, Malaysia’s Look East Policy has served as an important milestone in our bilateral relationship, enabling us to share experiences and build strong mutual trust. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Cultural Cooperation between Korea and Malaysia, signed in 2020, has also provided a solid foundation for further expanding cultural exchange and cooperation between our two countries in a more systematic manner. Building on this enduring friendship, we now seek to create a new platform for exchange that connects cultures and people.

The warm enthusiasm of Malaysians for Korean cultural content—including K-pop, dramas, films, and Korean cuisine—has served as a meaningful bridge bringing the hearts of our two peoples closer together. In response to this strong support, the Center will offer a wide range of programs showcasing not only the dynamism of contemporary K-culture, but also Korea’s rich traditional heritage and arts, as well as opportunities to experience and appreciate the cultures of both Korea and Malaysia.

Culture is one of the most beautiful languages through which people from different backgrounds can open their hearts to one another and become friends. Beyond serving as a space to introduce Korean culture, the Korean Cultural Center aspires to become a platform for meaningful exchange, where the diverse cultures of Malaysia and Korea can meet, inspire one another, and grow together.

I hope this website will serve as an open window bringing you useful information and fresh inspiration. We warmly invite you to join us on the journey ahead and look forward to your continued interest and support for the Korean Cultural Center Malaysia.

Terima kasih.
